Name: | Billy the Kid |
---|---|
Birthdate: | Nov 26 |
The Kid's Story:
Amusing fellow with a quick temper, fast draw and penchant for laughing at death and those who mean to deliver it. A “dreg of society” Billy was taken in by John Tunstall and made a Regulator. When Tunstall is murdered by his competition, a cattle baron named Murphy; the Regulators are deputized and sent out with warrants to bring in those responsible.
Billy has a different brand of justice in mind though, and puts a bullet or few in each of Murphy’s men the Regulators track down. When Dick, leader of the gang and one whom Billy has been challenging all along, is killed Billy takes up leadership of the Regulators and leads them on a bloody trail through the Lincoln County War. They’re sanctions are removed and the Regulators become outlaws hunted by Sheriff Brady, Bounty hunter John Kinney, the U.S Army and just about everyone between heaven and earth. Billy welcomes the challenge and the fight.
The Regulators stay ahead of those in pursuit for a time, the body count of Murphy’s men always rising, but when they come to help a friend they find an ambush. Surrounded in Alex McSween’s house with Murphy’s men and the U.S Calvary cutting off all retreat and unloading boxes of bullets into the place.
The building is set on fire and the Regulators are trapped. Tossing items from the burning building, books, small furniture, and a large trunk. When it hits the ground out leaps Billy, guns blazing. The rest of the gang is soon to follow, shooting their way free. It’s a desperate gambit and only three of the five Regulators who were in the house get away alive.
Before he rides off Billy turns back and sights on Murphy who was there to see the end of the gang. Staring down the barrel of his gun at Murphy Billy says, “Reap it Murphy you sonuvabitch,” and puts a clean hole between the man’s eyes.
With that Billy declares the war over and he and the others ride off, each going his separate way only to meet again in the future.
The Kid:
William H. Bonney is a legend as Billy the Kid. Some call him the Robin Hood of the old West. If you ask those who know him most will agree “He ain’t all there.” They’ll also tell you despite his wild nature and knack for killing Billy knows the meaning of ‘Pals’.
There’s no one more loyal or crazy in the Wild West. He’s a quick draw and sure shot and as for his leadership he’s either cunning or crazy but men do follow him. He laughs a lot when he’s clowning and when he’s killing. Not much of anything scares the kid. Educated and trail wise not a man yet has been able to take this outlaw down.
5'4" Billy is the shortest of the Regulators but with ten dead men to his name (Doc puts the count at 5 but what's a few fudged facts between friend?) he is the most dangerous. And crazy. Blue eyed and fair looking he likes to wear a vest and jeans and cleans up very nice. He wears a double set of holsters, butts out, and a bowler derby hat.
Billy the Kid is from Young Guns and Young Guns II and is the property of Artisan. He appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in , from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
